I was introduced to Over The Garden Wall in 2015 by Jin, and I loved it. It’s become one of my favorite cartoons.

Never did I imagine that years later, I’d be doing a cover for the official comic by BOOM! Studios. It will be released this September. The solicitation may be found here: http://www.cbr.com/boom-studios-september-2017-solicitations/

This time around, my art is going to be on the main cover! And it feels surreal that the creator, Patrick McHale, saw my work. As a fan of the show, I’m very honored to have been given this chance.

     No one tagged me but I thought I’d start another round of this game as I love seeing all the words.

This is from a sort of college/restaurant AU I started inspired by a Milliways’ DE, Jyn’s talking about her family.

ETA: I can’t make Tumblr ping people correctly. :( I have no idea why, it just won’t work for me the way it apparently does for others. so all i can do is edit and then reblog and use usernames in the first five tags, then reblog some more.

Um…this is weird as I just finished a fic last week and then wrote exactly one line of a new one so I guess I’ll throw in both.

The mission, she decided as they followed the northern star towards the horizon and the eventual promise of Rainbase, had been a success after all.

and this is literally the last thing I’ve written and it’s the first line from the new one…

Being the world’s seventh – no wait, based on last year’s taxes they’d jumped up two spaces to number five – FIFTH largest economy meant that money should have been a nonissue for most day to day activities.

Alrighty, I’ve been totally AWOL from tumblr for a while, but there’s nothing better to lure me back than tagging me talking fic, heh.

I’m currently 31k words into a Dragon Age fic. Not sure that sentence will even make it into the final version of the fic, I might ax that whole scene. Not even sure this will ever see the light of day, I got unfortunately derailed in the middle of it. I need to get back in the right DA headspace to finish it, arrrgh. :-/ :-/

(I am sooooo bad at getting derailed in the middle of fics. I have like 7 unfinished fics for other fandoms languishing on my hard drive right now ;__;)

I honestly don’t know who to tag, I’ve been off tumblr so long I don’t remember which of my mutuals write fic. Um, I think @nonbinarysasquatch does?? And @mab-speaks? @ginnyvos? I’m not sure who else?? Sorry!!! If you do, consider yourself tagged!

Well, he actually probably would, he shows her art in his slideshows on tour, and acknowledges that it’s great. But from what I understand she isn’t terribly interested in doing PJO art anymore, and the official PJO artist probably already had a contract they had to keep going, which was locked in long before she started doing the fanart. But they did actually take some PJO fanart from another fanartist and printed official merchandise of it, he’s actually paying attention and appreciates the good fan artists, and hiring fanartists isn’t out of the realm of possibility… 

Well, someone didn’t check the official PJO website in a while because our girl got upgraded

I’m aware of her art on his website now. This post was from over a year ago, long before she did that for him. Pretty happy about this development :-)
